Working with American Book Exchange to clear your storage rooms of surplus and out of adoption books is easy!
It starts with a phone call. Just give us a call at 800.453-7954 to schedule a visit to your school. Because of the rising costs of fuel, American Book Exchange can only schedule textbook pick-up visits for at least one truck load of books. If your school does not have a full truck load of books to sell, we can make stops at multiple schools within your district. You can contact other textbook coordinators within your district to pool your surplus books for a full truck load.
When American Book Exchange arrives
for your pick-up:

We will examine the condition of your books and check their resale value. |

We offer guide prices for the good condition books and tonnage prices for books to recycle. |

We can sometimes estimate the weight of your books for recycle and issue payment on the spot. |

We may need to bring your books to our warehouse for weighing and pay your school by mail. |

No boxing is required by your school. |

Our staff will load the books for you. Although, we do appreciate it if your books are located near an accessible exit. |
